Achievement Improvement Zones (Department of Education and Early Childhood Development)

The AiZ is an initiative of the Northern Metropolitan Region and is a key strategy for supporting change in teacher practice and improving student learning outcomes.

The AiZ provides a framework for school leaders and teachers to collaboratively improve and change practice through -

      • professional learning
      • ongoing coaching and training
      • support from regional, departmental and education experts.
